Community Relations

PCC provides its clients in both the public and private sector with the ability to impart their message to diverse communities – often in situations where conflicts are present or may develop. PCC utilizes a variety of informational tools including brochures, flyers, newsletters, meetings, websites and hotlines to enable its clients to customize their message in an easily comprehensible style to targeted communities.

PCC consults community relations clients with a basic process centering on the following steps:

  1. Develop a knowledge of the client and the message(s) it wishes to impart.
  2. Ascertain the communities which the client wishes to reach, and determine the appropriate means of communicating with each community.
  3. Design a plan enabling the client to impart its message to the targeted communities.
  4. Assist in implementation of the community relations plan as approved by the client by assisting in design and production of communications tools and conducting outreach and involvement activities as appropriate.
  5. Provide the client with periodic and final reports assessing the community relations program on both a quantitative and qualitative basis.
  6. Ongoing follow-up and interaction with targeted communities as needed.
